What steps does Shelburne Museum take to secure information on the web site?

We use our best efforts to ensure the security of Personal Information submitted by users. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission of information from your PC to our computers. Unfortunately, no electronic communication over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to take great care to protect your Personal Information, we cannot warrant the security of any information that you submit to us, and you do so at your own risk. We do offer secured-server transactions that encrypt your information in transit to thwart attempts to intercept and misuse it when collecting credit card information for online purchases. We also store any personally identifying information in an area to which the general public does not have access.

The right to download and store or output the materials in our site is granted for the user's personal use only, and materials may not be reproduced in any edited form. Tickets are non-refundable. The Winter Lights event runs rain, snow or shine. In the event of major storms we may need to close for the evening and all ticket holders will receive notification by 12 pm on the day of the event. Please check your email, Museum social media accounts, www.shelburnemuseum.org or call1-802-985-3346 for event status updates. Should we cancel an evening due to weather we will refund the price of your ticket(s). Because our system does not store your credit card information, our customer service team will send you an email reminding you to contact us for either a refund or to reschedule your visit for another available evening.
